This, ladies, is probably the most important item in my makeup bag. Every day, all day, it keeps my eye makeup in pristine condition, whether I'm running between classes, walking in the heat, or EVEN trying to stay out of the rain and failing. It is a life-saver. After starting to use this product, to be honest... I probably wouldn't even wear eye shadow without it. Must have.

This has a silky consistency with long lasting staying power. A small drop will be enough for both eyelids. I use this daily and my eyeshadow will last all day, no creasing, smudging, or fading. I have 2 deluxe sample bottles from kits bought in July and I'm just getting through the 1st tube, so a tube lasts a long time. This is a must have for oily lids!

I cannot live without this item! It is the first thing I reach for before I apply eyeshadow and it really makes a world of difference. My eyeshadow actually stays throughout 8 grueling hours at work. This primer is one of the best I have used and I have used just about all of them. It really makes shadow stick and I also mix a bit of it with my concealer and it makes the concealer easier to apply and it lasts all day (I have dark circles under my eyes and this really does the trick. I also use Too Faced concealer with it).

I absolutely swear by this product. The value for this is perfect because, a little goes a long way. I used to have so many problems with my eye shadow looking cakey, flaky or fading to soon, with this smooth as silk primer I never have that problem anymore. It seriously lasts all day and all night without the touch ups I would have to do before I tried it. Were do I even begin with this product!!! First of all the packaging is incredible! Now the product the product is super, incredible and amazing. Its just so much worth the money it works miracles this is my smokey eye's best friend it just such an incredible product and it definitely does what is on the description box. LOVE IT!!! I love all too Faced products but this is my fave right up with the primed and poreless primer. No matter what eyeshadow you choose it brings out all the colors and last all day long. I've tried other primers but this is the best and the moment I noticed that I'm about to run out I go and buy it right away. All you need is a little bit and it goes a long way.

This Shadow Insurance will not disappoint!! I received this as a sample when I bought my Natural Eye Shadow Palette. I fell in love with this product. I never apply shadow without this now. It increases the pigment and the staying power is amazing. I did my research girls...I used same eyeshadow and each day tried a different primer on one eye with this primer on the other eye. At the end of my trial, Shadow Insurance came out the WINNER!! I tried Lorac primer, Prime time primer, and Urban Decay Primer and Too Faced is the best!!! I work long 12 hour shift in a busy ER and sometimes sweat and work my butt off. But, at the end of the day, my eye shadow still looks perfect. I have hooked all my friends and family too!!

WOW! What an Excellent eyeshadow primer! I have really oily eyelids and this primer works so perfect for me! It blends very easily, my eye shadow stays all day long and also it keeps my eye shadow from creasing!! Where do I start? I started with stay don't stray, shadow potion, smashbox lid primer, bare escenuals shadow primer, lorac's shadow primer (I still love you Lorac) and finally ended up with Two Faced. Ladies save your money and time and go straight to this one, it's the only one that held my shadows/liners (even liquid) in place ALL DAY. And I mean morning to night. No creasing, no smudging, no fading...all in place. Amazing.....now I have the lemon drop, candlelight and original!

Unlike most eye primers this Shadow Insurance does not make your eyeshadow crease by the end of the day. I will never stop using it EVER its a must have:)

I have never actually purchased this product, but every time I place an order on Too Faced I always choose this as my free sample. I love the way it makes my eyeshadow stay on all day without creasing or fading. I use this with the Naked Eye Palette and makes my eyeshadow stay put until I take it off at night. I never have to worry about the eyeshadow falling onto my cheeks. The sample tube is always enough to last until I make another purchase, so I image the regular size tube would last forever!

This is hands down the best eye shadow primer I've ever used. I have super oily eyelids, and this is the only primer that I've found to work on me. I've tried UDPP, MAC Paint Pots, and Benefit's Stay Don't Stray, with all of these primers my lids would usually start creasing within 2-3 hours. Shadow Insurance, on the other hands lasts literally all day for me. It's amazing!

I received this as a sample, and didn't expect to like it since I like to keep to minimal makeup steps - but I LOVE IT, and it's a must have in my makeup bag now. It smooths and moisturizes the eyelid while holding eyeshadow in place all day, even my cream formulations. And it has enough of a nice brightening effect that I wear it alone on the dressed down days, just w/ mascara, to even out my eyelids and brighten them up. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and skin, and this has never bothered me. Can't wait to try the Candlelit version with more highlighter, it means I can skip that step as well:)

Make-up has been so much fun since this little tube came into my life! My lids are a bit heavy and I had resolved to use neutral, pale shadows because the color would end up in the oily crease in my eye. I didn't think any primer would beat mother nature but this one has. The tube I have has lasted me FOREVER, and I use it daily. A must have for any girl. No more greasy color-creases! just lustrous, soft, colorful lids all day long.

I don't know why I didn't buy this product sooner. I've always had a problem with my eyeshadow creasing not long after applying it. I have really oily eyelids, along with my forehead and nose. I would just reapply my eyeshadow and it just looked like a caked on mess. I finally bought the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I am SO happy! To see a difference, I used the primer on one eyelid and none on the other. After only just three hours, the primerless eyelid was already creased and the shadow was fading. It looked terrible. How did I ever put up with this? The lid with primer was flawless! I checked every hour and it stayed put for over EIGHT hours! After about eight hours, the shadow did start to fade, but not as bad as the primerless eyelid. After 12 hours, I did notice a little creasing. I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I know that the Urban Decay Primer Potion is really popular, so I got a small sample of it at Sephora to compare the two. Well, they were pretty much the same. The Too Faced did go on my eyelids more easily and it felt more silky. But the results were the same. Here's my opinion. With the Urban Decay, the bottle design is really stupid. In order to get all the product in there, you have to literally saw the bottle into three parts. Then you have to scoop out the remaining product and put it in jars. And even if you do get all the remaining product, there's a possibility that the product might dry out. Plus that doesn't sound hygienically safe. I say get the Too Faced because the tube is squeezable, allowing you to get all the product inside. I really thought that this product wouldn't work. I was skeptical because my eyelids are so oily. I was pleasantly surprised and now I'm sold. This will be a staple in my beauty routine. Go get it!

This is one of my staple products. It goes on smooth, holds your eye shadow really well, and one tube lasts for ages. I'd be lost without it.

Hands down the best shadow primer out there!!! I have used many brands before but let me say this..I never will stop using this one. This product is very easy to use, long lasting, and especially very good to use with dark eyeshadows and shimmery and glittery eyeshadows. Confession: I have also used this primer over my eyebrows: since I like my brows to be very accented, I apply this primer and brow pencil over to maintain the color. It never fails, even after 12hrs+ of being applied.

It not only provides a great shadow base, but can also transform your everyday powdered shadows into a creme shadow that once dried, gives you a deeper true shadow shade that GOES NOWHERE! Another great detail about this is the tube. Unlike a hard non-squeezable container, you will get every bit of product out of this tube. It is such a high quality product that a little goes a long way, lasting you quite awhile, and being worth every penny. It it creamy, not greasy, and leaves a silky finish behind that just binds to your shadows. Even glittery shadows will not drop glitter onto your cheeks, but will keep it on your eyes where it belongs. I always get compliments on my shadow and asked, "How does your shadow stay looking so flawless all day?" I excitedly tell them, "SHADOW INSURANCE!"

I definitely have fallen in love with this eye primer since I got it in a set from Too Faced. I have been a constant user of another high-end brand's eye primer, but once I started using this one I don't know if I'll ever go back. First of all, it WORKS! My eyeshadow stays on all day and still looks beautiful late into the night. It's also very easy to apply, since the tube makes squeezing out the perfect amount so simple. Overall, perfect for every day and will certainly last a long time. I'm looking forward to trying other colors of Shadow Insurance too!

I've always had problems with my eyeshadow creasing, so I've tried several different primers. Shadow Insurance is definitely the best! It takes just a little and my eyeshadow isn't going anywhere all day. I absolutely love this product!

Before I found this product my eye makeup would always crease. This primer can make even the cheep shadow last all day long. It is amazing. I use it every day with my makeup. It blends in well, is very light and lasts all day. The price is worth every drop.

I can't live without Shadow Insurance! I have really oily lids, but this primer helps my shadow stay on for hours without creasing, plus colors show up more vividly on top of it. I use this nearly every day, and I'm still using the same tube I bought almost a year ago. It does separate sometimes, but if you squeeze the tube a bit before opening it to use, you shouldn't have problems. I've developed a habit of squishing it around before every use, and I haven't noticed any separation problems since first trying that.

This is the only primer I use. It really helps to prevent fading and creasing for a long time and even at the end of a long, busy day those issues are minimal. A small amount of product goes a long way so a tube is going to last quite a while and it is well worth the price tag. The only problem I have experienced with it is that it tends to separate a bit in the tube (usually this is only if it sits for a few days if I'm in a no makeup rut for a while or not wearing makeup because of having a cold or something) so I have to squeeze the tube with the cap on so I can use it. But other than that this is a fabulous product I'd recommend to anyone.

This is my absolute favorite primer! It is very hot and humid where I live and before I started using shadow insurance I would have to touch up my eyeshadow a few times a day. This keeps my eyemakeup from creasing, fading, and smearing. My eyeshadow looks exactly the same at the end of the day as it does when I first apply it in the morning. I also love that it doesn't feel greasy like other primers I've tried. I can't say enough good things about it and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I love this primer! It keeps my eye shadow from creasing (and I have very oily eyelids). It is a nice creamy formula that goes colorless once you smooth it out. Other primers hold well, but you can always tell where I applied them because there is a line where the eye shadow ends. With this one, there is no line because you can blend shadow to fade beyond the primer. My eye shadow looks great all day, and I live in a very humid area.

I believe this is a must have when using eye makeup. This primer is just how it is described. It does not crease your makeup and helps your shadow stay on all day. The creamy texture dries clear, and soft. All you need is a little product to get a big job done. I only have a small travel size that I got in a kit, and I still use after many months, so I know when I finally get a full size, it will last a long time! It is worth the price! Also, if I use a cream base or foiling base, I have to use this product first, under them to lock my shadow in place. If you were to pick one Too Faced product to try out first, this is the one!

Too Faced Shadow Insurance is an absolutle must-have. Very high-quality product and does its job wonderfully. If you have to splurge on anything, it definitely has to be this product. A good shadow primer keeps any eyeshadow lasting a long time, and Shadow Insurance isn't just good, I'd go so far as to say it's the best there is. No other primer I've tried has come close to the quality of this one. Not only does it keep shadow lasting all day and crease-free, it keeps them blendable. Other primers I've tried posed a problem when I tried to blend my shadows. This was the first product I tried from Too Faced but it's certainly not the last. I'm a Too Faced fan and customer for life.

This primer is great. I have never had my shadow crease while using it. Other primers take a few minutes to set or dry after you blend them on, but not Shadow Insurance! My shadow lasts until I remove it (even if that's not until the morning after a big night out)! Simply awesome -- does everything i need it to do.

I have tried a LOT of eye shadow primers (Urban Decay, MAC) but always come back to my Too Faced. The primer goes on smoothly and moisturizes my eyes so that there is no cakey build-up of products. Love, love, love

Its a best seller for a reason!!! I love eye primer. I was using another eye primer for years before I tried this one. I'm a victim of the "shadow crease"! I always was, even with other primers. I got this one as a free sample, so i tried it...at first i was like "this won't work well, it doesnt feel like glue( my other one did), it's to light and silky to hold shadow in place!" Was i wrong!! My shadow lasts all day! Even chasing around a toddler!! Plus i use less eye shadow because the primer helps makes the color pop! It is also great value!! you hardly need to use ANY! i feel like it lasts me forever!! Just another A-MAY-ZINGGG Too Faced product! <3

this is the hands-down best eyelid primer on the market. i have very deep-set eyes and always struggled with nasty greasing and creasing before i started using this product. my shadow and liner lasts through anything, from working 18-hour days to working out to swimming in the ocean. just a tiny speck makes the biggest difference! can't - and won't! - go a day without this miracle product!

Only two words to describe how i feel about it, LOVE IT ! i first tried it out as a sample and immediatley fell in love with it. Its really smooth and is one of the best primers ever. I give too faced two thumbs up. There products are amazing and the packaging is always super cute.

This was hard for me to buy and you might be contimplating it to. Its hard to purchase items like this because you would rather buy a new crazy cool eyeshadow. THIS IS A MUST HAVE. This is like the deodorant to makeup. I have Asian eyes and makeup tends to rub off or collect in the crease. This solved my problems. I also had a friend buy this and she has large eyelids, well it helped her makeup look fresh ALL day! Another good reason is it helps you get the true color of your eyeshadow. Its like when you paint a room. You can save a few bucks not buying primer and wonder why after 4 coats you can still see the color underneath. It might not be the most exciting purchase but its one you wont regret.

I love this stuff. Since my eyelids produce enough oil to power a thrid world country, I have a REALLY hard time finding a primer for my eyelids that actually works and worth the money. This works!! I can use this in the morning and at the end of the day there is still actually shadow on my lids. One thing to remember is that a little bit of goes a long way. The littlest dab will be plenty enough to cover both lids. This product is definetly worth the money.

I absolutely love this primer! I used to use another well known primer faithfully until I got this with the Enchanted Glamourland palette. Once I tried it and realized what a fantastic job it did, I was hooked! My eyeshadow always lasts all day without any creasing, and the colors stay vibrant. It is a must have product!

I tried another popular primer before getting this in a set. I wish I never wasted my money on the other product! With the other brand I was having issues with their product not blending into my skin evenly and drying too fast around my eyes, creating what looked like patches of dead skin around my face - gross! It was also difficult to blend colors into and at times looked patchy. To top it off it was even irritating my skin. Now I am a convert! No such issues with Too Faced Shadow Insurance! This blends into my fair skin invisibly, and you only need the tiniest bit. A "raindrop" covers the entire lid area. I use half that if I'm only using shadow close to my lash line. The tube has a needle-nose tip so it is easy to get just the right-sized drop out. I will also use a small amount of this product along my lower lashes to hold pigmented powder eyeshadows like colorful liner, which it does perfectly. It has not bothered my skin and it lasts all day, and even all night long! This prevents creasing as well, I have fairly oily lids so this is wonderful. Despite how this grabs your make-up it is still very easy to blend colors over the product. I don't think it intensifies colors as much as a white eyeshadow base will, but I never have any fading with this. If wanted you can apply quite a bit of shadow to this for more vibrancy and it won't fallout and fade over time; that is good generally enough for me. The packaging is very practical and the squeeze tube is more hygienic for you. Because you only need the tiniest bit a tube of Too Faced Shadow Insurance will last you a very long time. This is a wonderful primer and I won't be without it! Thank you Too Faced!

I thought nothing could tear me away from my beloved Urban Decay Primer Potion, however, once I tried this I never looked back! This smooths on very smoothly and goes on translucent. I don't have to wait for it to dry before applying eyeshadow. Once applied, it doesn't crease or smear. Rather it holds my shadow in place all day long! Plus the tube lasts forever! I think I've been using my current one for a few months now and I use it almost every day. A staple in my bag for sure! I don't think I'll ever switch!

I originally received this as a sample and I am in LOVE with this stuff. Absolutely the best eyeshadow primer I've used thus far. I also like to use this on some of the "problem" areas on my face where I'll be using concealer, works wonders ;)

This product is worth the money. It will last you a long time (up to a year or so). You only need a tiny amount for both eyes. Not even a pea size amount. It is not obvious that it is even on until you apply your eyeshadow. It is very good for keeping it in place (all day). I love it. Normally I actally use The Body Shop's concealer sticks for this very purpose, but actually prefer to use this! It's not greasy, doesn't cake and is really inexpsnsive when you think about how long it will last. And the tube is cute too!

This is one of my favorite products out there. I wear eye shadow and eyeliner every single day and shadow insurance has not let me down! It seriously does last all day; I want to say it lasts me for 12 or so hours [of course i might have to do some eyeliner touch ups, depending on what kind I wear that day], but still It keeps my eye makeup intact; I've noticed that I've taken pictures at night time, look at them later and think, "Oh yeah, I forgot I had eye make-up on and it looks good in the picture!" I really love it, and highly recommend it to those looking for a good eye shadow primer. I've used others, and unfortunately they don't even come close to the great results I get on a daily basis. It's extremely easy to use and apply and it's not messy in any way.

great consistency smooth it has an ivory colored tint, which is great for me because I'm fair, but when you rub it in you can't really see a color you don't need to muse a lot for it to work I defiantly recommend it!

I purchased a "travel size" of this stuff (to try it before buying the bigger one) and I most definitely do not regret my purchase. This thing is amazing! It's not greasy like some of the other stuff out there and my eye shadow looked PERFECT. Not to mention the fact that it stayed on longer than usual. <3

I got a sample of Too Faced shadow insurance. While I did like the creamy, velvety feel of it, and the fact that it blended really well with my skin tone, I did not feel that it really kept my eye shadow in place very well. When I originally put my shadow on, it didn't go on so smooth, it actually was creasing a bit as I put it on. It could be that I had to wait longer for it to dry, but I didn't think I needed to wait THAT long. It also ended up creasing later on that night.
